You know you are excited when....

You know you are excited when: the sight of a pretty flower makes you scream with joy!!! I am constantly amazed by the things that Remy notices. It must be so amazing to be a child and see so many amazing things that you haven't ever seen before. It is funny to watch Remy discover these new things. Last week we went to Provo to see my sister, brother-in-law and two nephews. Shaun and I really like to travel down to Salt Lake so that we can hang out and eat food. We ate at all of our favorites: Bombay house, Moochie's meatballs, Chocolate, the BYU creamery and Rubios Fish Tacos. We were so greedy that we even bought extra meals from the Bombay house to take home. Our first stop was at Apple store in the Gateway Mall. Remy really didn't want to be in a stroller, nor did he want to be carried so baby leash it was. He was quickly (well, as quickly as you can with short legs) running around, trying to keep up with Daddy. Well, Shaun got to the Apple store he was going in and grabbed the door and swung it open. it was much lighter than he anticipated and he completely knocked Remy over. I mean poor little Remy didn't even see it coming and basically fell over flat!! He even had a little bruise on his head from the door handle. Shaun felt so bad. So I decided that Remy and I would just wait outside since most people don't want to have a screaming baby while they are scanning the newest products. Remy would feel each of the flowers and say pwiddy!!! over and over. Such a little nerd.

You know you are excited when: you see a pond/fountain and are so excited you try to jump in. While we were waiting for Shaun to finish in the apple store we played at this fountain. Remy kept trying to walk into the fountain to feel the pretty water.

You know you are excited when: You are finally old enough to wear the big boy goggles.
Remy loves to play with the big kids and always wants to know what to do. He watches with great admiration and excitement for the day that he will know how to play with the trucks and put legos together. He was laughing when he got to wear the goggles.

You know you are excited when: you go to a museum and can't stop screaming with joy for the first 15 minutes. One of the fun local attractions for the kids we go to in Provo is the Bean Museum on the BYU campus. It is free, full of animals , bugs, birds, fish,( stuffed of course) and just all around fun. Remy hadn't ever been there and the minute we walked through the door he started screaming with glee. He didn't stop screaming for like 15 minutes and he was running from display to display trying to go under the velvet ropes. It was so funny. Good thing I had the baby leash on him because there was a couple of times he almost made it into the lion mount display. I recommend going to this museum if you are even in Provo. It is seriously awesome they have all sorts of crazy animals mounted, life-size elephants, lions, elk, moose. They even have Shasta the Liger (known for their skills in magic as we all learned from Napoleon Dynamite).

You know you are excited when: you get so excited playing peek-a-boo that you almost get whiplash. Remy was getting so excited on the way home playing peek-a-boo he would shake his head side to side really fast. We really had a fun time with my sister Ash and her fam and hope to be able to go back soon.

I took Chandler to the museum today & had the same experience. It's funny how excited they get! We were there for nearly 2 hours and he still started crying when we left. Aren't little, curious boys the greatest?

Ah! We were at the Apple store the other day, and if we were there the same day I'm going to be so grumpy that we missed you! The weather looks the same. :)

Anywho, I love the pictures -- especially the 1st one with the flowers. :)
