Valentines Day

I really love long weekends. It is always so nice to be able to know that for 3 whole days you will be able to pretty much just hang around and do whatever you feel like. Well that is the idea anyway, they always tend to be quite busy and I just end up running around doing errands. I had a really busy week at work. Friday was busy with patients and than in the middle of the day I had to go and assist with a c-section. Since it was during the day I had Remy with me and the nurses said that they would watch him while I was gone. I left and was back about 45 minutes later. When I got back the nurses said that Remy had been walking down the hall and around the office. At home Remy will walk 1-2 steps at a time between me and Shaun but that is about it. That little stinker just started walking in the 45 minutes I was gone. It is so cute to watch him though. I just love that little boy.

Friday night we went up to Shaun's family's cabin. It is so pretty and relaxing up there and we just love to hang out and relax. We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant on the way up and our way home on Saturday. It was really fun. My sister and her hubby and kids also came up this weekend to hang out so we played Rock Band on Saturday night. I know, I know, we are addicted. Sunday we had a wonderful romantic dinner at my parents house with all of the family. It was so delicious, my sister Ashley worked really hard on the food and it was awesome.

Some other funny Remy-isms that I just love: He gets really excited to eat any of his favorite foods (cheese, nutri-grain bars, refried beans and rice) when he sees any of said items he starts going MMmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm and reaching out for them. He is so funny. He also gets really excited to see things and he also always says oooooooh, ooooooh. Those are his two favorite things to say. He has started pointing at things. In the car on the way home from the cabin he would point at the dome light. He was getting tired so he was kind of staring and his finger would just keep pointing. He would realize that he was pointing and would grab his hand with his other hand and pull it down. It would keep pointing so he would keep grabbing and pulling it down. it was hilarious. That is him, My nerdy little sweet boy. He also has 8 teeth now. 4 on top and 4 on the bottom teeth.

It is so fun to watch their little minds grow! One day, you'll say something and you'll suddenly notice how much he actually understands. Love all your memories!

My Mom was in the office the day Remy started walking. What a little booger to do it while Mommy is away, lol. He is getting big so fast. Your blog is so cute. I hope you don't mind if I add it to my blog roll. It'll be fun keeping up with your cute little family. I got the outfits at an assortment of places. Dillards, JcPenny, Old Navy. My first trip to the mall in like a year. I hope you have a girl next. They are so fun to shop for! :) Xo.
